I let students submit additional posts in a Discussion to help raise their initial score I submitted to Grades. Students post again, and then wait and wait, etc., then send me a direct message query, because Canvas does not place a new icon alongside the number score already inside the assignment's cell in Grades, or send a message to my 'To Do', indicating I have an additional post to score for that student.
In other words, at present, I tell students that they must let me know individually and directly every time they do extra work to raise a Discussion score that already appears in Grades.
Can you fix this? I have 60 students between 2 sections, and I can't search every one for extra posts in my 4 Discussions across the semester. Surely Canvas can be responsive to this problem.
Thanks for researching this and coming up with a work-around or outright fix.
