I created an assignment using a SCORM Package I downloaded from Articulate Rise and thereafter uploaded it as a graded assignment on Canvas. Upon editing the settings of the assignment, I noticed that the submission type is automatically set as an external tool. Is there a way to allow students to submit their responses using the online tool (type a text, upload a file etc.) of Canvas so they can type their responses on a submit page? When I changed the Submission Type to online, I lost all the content. Should I pick a different export file to make this possible? Or is there a way to embed the HTML5 codes on the Canvas assignment page? Thank you so much for your help.
First, I want to apologize for your question sitting in the community for so long without a response.
Second, it looks like you have stumped the Canvas Community. Were you able to find an answer to your question? I am going to go ahead and mark this question as answered because there hasn't been any more activity in a while so I assume that you have the information that you need. If you still have a question about this or if you have information that you would like to share with the community, by all means, please do come back and leave a comment.

Hi Robbie,
I was able to get the HTML codes from a colleague and we were able to publish an Articulate Rise content on a Canvas page successfully. Thank you for the follow up.
April, Would you be willing to share some additional information as well as some steps for incorporating Rise activities? And, what happens if a student needs to redo the Rise content? Can another attempt be given?
No actual solution was published here. Would it be possible to post the HTML code and the steps needed?
