[ARCHIVED] Can students view quiz answers if they never took the quiz?

I recently gave a quiz to my class through Canvas and each student only had one attempt. I know one student didn't take the quiz at all since they still had one attempt remaining even after the due date had passed. I was wondering if the student would be able to see the correct answers once I release them even though they never took the quiz in the first place?
