[ARCHIVED] Downloading lecture recordings from Media Gallery

One of my students asked me if its possible to download the lecture recordings I have put into Media Gallery, do you know if this is possible?

Just want to chime in and say I have this issue also. These seems to be an option when you edit a video, in the 'Downloads' tab to enable downloads from 'source'. This allows the 'owner' of the media to access a download option in the 'Details' tab when playing the video. However this does not appear to be the case for students. Any experts out there who can clarify?
