How can I eliminate or hide the "Total"  and "Assignments" columns from Gradebook?

 @jeff_zabel ‌, please refer to the View More Options section near the bottom of How do I set details for a course?  ; the instructor can disable the radio button next to "Hide totals in student grades summary" to hide assignment groups and total grade from view.

Thanks Stephanie – I checked the “Hide totals in student grades summary” I can still see the Total and Assignments columns in Gradebook but I take it that the students cannot?

Yes, that is correct,  @jeff_zabel . Enabling the setting does not affect instructors' view of the Gradebook.
