[ARCHIVED] Expanding options for sorting the gradebook

In Blackboard it is easy to arranged one's gradebook categories by moving them around. In Canvas the manual move is awkward and difficult.  But if one of the sorting options was by assignment type, this would be helpful.  In any case, adding that sorting option seems desirable to me.  I can sort by date and module but not by assignment type.  Can that be added?

Good afternoon, @wturgeon ...

A great suggestion!  However, what you'll want to do is post that as a Feature Idea here in the Community.  You can start this process by clicking on the PRODUCT menu from any screen here in the Community, and then selecting IDEA CONVERSATIONS.  Then, click on the "Suggest an idea" button.  You'll be prompted to input some keywords or a title of your idea...and it may find something that already exists.  If this is the case, add your comments to the existing idea instead of creating a new one.  But, if you cannot find anything that matches, go ahead and create a new Feature Idea.  Here are some documents that might help along the way:
