With everything going digital, trying to find a way to give my tests in canvas while blocking external websites so the student can't cheat.  Haven't been able to locate the procedure, if it even exists.

Some common lockdown browsers include Respondus and Safe Exam Browser. Canvas actually has a built-in lockdown browser called "Respondus Lockdown Browser," which you can enable for your tests. To enable it, simply go to the settings for your quiz or exam and select "Require Respondus Lockdown Browser" under the "Lockdown Browser" tab.

Unfortunately, the "Respondus Lockdown Browser" is not a built-in part of Canvas (that comes with Canvas "out of the box").  The Respondus Lockdown Browser is a third-party add-on that integrates with Canvas, and I believe there is an additional cost (paid to Respondus) for this product.  Not all schools have the Lockdown Browser integrated with Canvas, and this might be the case for @kevin_morris1.  Kevin can certainly have a conversation with his school's Canvas administrator or someone from their Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education department, however, to see if they have this integration ... or something similar.
