[ARCHIVED] Why can I not see my grade book settings icon?

When I open my grade book on Canvas, the settings icon does not appear behind the search bar.  How can I access my grade book settings?

What did you have in place of three vertical dots? I couldn't see the settings icon, because I accidentally increased the width of my screen and they were just not visible because of this.
