Right now, when observing multiple students, all courses are linked together. However, the Canvas Roadmap includes a possible update to that experience! It seems that families should soon be able to filter courses by student, in a similar way as Canvas Parent. In the meantime, I've shared some tips in a blog -- Clarity for Canvas Observers .
