Can you change course details after you publish course?

@luaces_1 ,
Definitely, yes! Publish the course when you are ready for students to access the course (after it's official start date). This gives them access to the course if they are enrolled.
Anything items published in the class they will see; any not published they won't. When you add a module, assignments etc... when you are ready for them to see it, publish it. Otherwise, keep plugging away until the course is built as you would like. Happy building 🙂

Basically anything. I was asked to step in and create (from scratch) and teach a course at the last minute. It is face to face so I ave been basically doing day by day and I have not been able to complete everything in Canvas, but until I publish it, the students have no access to grades or other resources. So I want to be able to add modules or assignments when I get a chance to sit down and finalize plans.
