I was going debating on buying a new computer or updating my laptop and the tech guy said he could update the chrome for me. it moves faster but will it work in Canvas? Because school is the main reason ill be usin it.

Hello  @kadair9  Welcome to the Canvas Community.  Thanks for posting your question.  Yes, the Google Chrome web browser should work just fine for navigating around Canvas.  In fact, it's one of the browsers that is recommend over other browsers (such as Internet Explorer and Edge ... don't use these when navigating Canvas).  Here's a good document for you to look through: Which browsers does Canvas support?‌
