Hi!
I'm sending out announcements for a group I'm in, but it's the same message each day for every week. Is there a way I can make messages reoccuring so I don't have to go back and schedule to send them every day?
Thank you for help in advance!

Hi @whunt Welcome to the Canvas Community.
Great question.
here's the Canvas Guide about how to add an announcement https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10422-415250735 but it misses the recurring detail.
So...
Here is greater detail about how to make a recurring announcement.

A recurring calendar event is not the same as an announcement. My college requires that online/remote classes send out an announcement when weekly office hours open - any suggestions on THAT? Thanks in advance!
Do you need to send out a different announcement every week? Or just one at the beginning of a term? Do office hours change every week?
The same announcement at the same time every week.
This is a work-around. Edit your existing announcement and Save it. It should appear at the top of the announcement stack.
If you want it to appear every Monday at 7 am: on Friday afternoon edit it, check "Delay posting" and a calendar selection box will appear. Choose the date and time you want the announcement to appear. Save it.
You'll need to re-post (Save) your announcement every week but you won't need to recreate it.
