Missing Settings

I am missing my settings tab on my course navigation.  How do I get it?

Are you enrolled in the course as a teacher? If not, please contact your local eLearning department to request a change in role.

I too have this problem. I am a teacher in the course.  It is a bug that just cropped up within the last few days. Here is a screenshot.

Thank you for sharing that screenshot.  The left-hand course navigation menu seems to be "off" ... you shouldn't be seeing some of those menus like "People", "Outcomes", and "Rubrics" indented like that.  Have you tried clearing your browser cache / history, closing the browser, and then re-logging in to Canvas to see if the issue corrects itself?

I looked at your screenshot, and I actually do see the "Settings" menu...but the text appears to be broken into about three pieces.  The "Se" from "Settings" is at the very end of "BigBlueButton".  "tti" is at the end of "Collaborations".  Finally, "ngs" is on the next line below "Collaborations".  This is super odd that the buttons are displayed like this, and so I recommend trying my suggestion above first.  If that doesn't work, then you might want to report this to Canvas Support:
