Questions & Grading for a Badge

Hi - are there any more detailed resources for how to implement a standard rubric with a badge? I'm finding it very difficult to understand how to implement it and there's only this guide that I can find. For example, if I add an assignment in Canvas, I can add a rubric and I can also assign the badge which has a rubric. But when I grade, only the Canvas rubric is evident, not the badge rubric. This makes no sense. I just want the badge rubric to be primary.
