How do I upload a pre-made rubric into the commons? Is there a way instead of creating one every time?

Hi Erin,

I'm not sure why you would want to add a rubric to the commons but I assume you want the rubric to be available everywhere in Canvas.

If you have created a rubric already, you should be able to find your own rubric when you add one.

You can also (ask to) add a rubric to an account so every teacher in the account can use the rubric.

Hi, Erin!

As mentioned above, rubrics must be created in Canvas. I simply copy/paste my information from a pre-made rubric into Canvas. 

Once a rubric is attached to a quiz/assignment, that rubric follows that quiz/assignment into Commons when shared. The entire kit-and-kaboodle go into Commons for your teammates to find. When they import the quiz/assignment, the rubric is also imported, attached to that quiz/assignment.
