I generally grade a few hundred tests at once (several sections of large classes), and I'm using the Point Annotation tool exclusively. However, whenever I'm done with a student's test and go to a new student (or another file that the student has submitted), the Selection tool is highlighted. It is getting annoying having to click on the Point Annotation tool every time.
I was wondering whether DocViewer could be modified so that it remembers the last Annotation Tool that the teacher used. (Surprisingly, no one seems to have suggested this before, although there are some ideas which would amount to remembering settings from the previous test.)
