Getting Started As a Canvas Admin

Congratulations! You are a new admin inside of Canvas! We all have probably heard the phrase, “with great power comes great responsibility,” and the same is true for any Canvas admin. But the real question is, “what do I need to know, and where do I even begin?” Lucky for you, I’ve worked with a lot of incredible administrators over the last couple of years and have rounded up some of their favorite resources to share with you today.

After 8 years of teaching students in various K12 and HE English and Science courses, Danielle is now a Senior Customer Success Manager over the new BizGov segment. She also previously served on the Instructure Training Team and a HE Customer Success Manager. She earned a BS in Education (minor in Communications) from Cornell University, and a MS in Leadership and Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has taught in Queens, Nashville, and Knoxville at the middle school, high school, and higher ed level.
