App inbox messages get cut off

When I reply to messages from my students in the inbox via the app (iOS), the message gets cut off if it's on the longer side. Sometimes I'm explaining something and want to break it up into smaller chunks, but after a certain number of lines, I can't see what I'm typing anymore. I can go into my notes app and write my message, then copy/paste and then I can see everything. 

Does anyone else run into this? Is this a known issue? I didn't see anything here in the community.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from you. We hope you are doing well and that you’ve found an answer to your question!

I would recommend contacting Canvas support in an instance like this so they can look at your account directly and see what is going on.  Community members are mostly Canvas users and school/institution administrators who can't see your exact course or account details, so we're unable to provide a ton of help in a situation like this.
