Canvas IOS App Keeps Using Safari to Open Quizzes Instead of Chrome

I’m a student and on my iPad and my iPhone, I have the default browser set to Chrome. However, every time I try to take a quiz I get a warning notification from canvas that says to switch the browser from safari to chrome or Firefox because the media doesn’t load correctly on safari. I thought maybe it was a default warning that always pops up even if you are using chrome, but there have be times where the media doesn’t fully load so I know it’s not just a reminder. How do I get canvas to actually use chrome instead of safari? I’ve been searching through other peoples questions for a while now, but I haven’t found a question or answer that fits my situation. I know that there is a way to set the default browser on your iOS device to use Chrome instead of Safari. This can be done within the device settings for Chrome. (Settings>Chrome>Tap Default Browser App)   HERE is some information on how to set the default browser to Chrome instead of Safari.
