To Our Amazing Educators Everywhere,
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
Hi,
I redownloaded Canvas for the start of the semester, but my dashboard is set to list view for all of my classes. It used to be card view, which I liked because I was able to see all of my classes without scrolling. Some other forums said that you can press an ellipses in the top right of the dashboard homepage of the app, but I dont have that?? Is there any way to change this at all?? (I use canvas as a student if that helps)
Thanks!!

Hi @amilliken248 -
Canvas Student does not support the List View. You may be able to access it with a mobile browser (Chrome, Safari, etc), if you'd like.
"List View" in iOS App is an idea that is open for conversation. Other mobile users have wondered about this and have requested the feature. Feel free to add a comment and rate (star) the idea too!

As I've just yesterday encountered this problem, I think the question is that the dashboard card view on the Student mobile app, which used to appear as two columns of course cards, is now just a single column of thin cards (a "list") that require more scrolling to get through, rather than seeing them on one screen.
Hi @MaryThomas1 - Thank you for the clarification! If that's the case, that was a change made with the most recent update in Canvas Student. However, there is an Idea open for conversation right now. Please see iOS Canvas Student Course View and add your comments to the discussion. 🙂
