Other videos seem to work, like there is a vimeo video in the "welcome to canvas" course we have in our sandbox, but if it's canvas studio, there's always just a link to "launch external tool" or "open in safari" which is weird because isn't studio supposed to be the in-house solution? Is this on the roadmap to being improved? I don't see studio as a viable option if apple devices using the app have this experience.

Hi @Seangt,
The Canvas Mobile team is working on the solution to show the Studio videos embedded in the iOS applications.

Jozsef
Hello @Seangt and welcome to the Canvas Community! I think the problem may be that you are linking a Studio Video in the Course and not embedding it. Here are the directions for embedding your Studio Video using the RCE.
If this does not work, please let us know!
Jen
I would love for that to be true but it does not fix the problem. I uploaded screenshots showing that and then this was marked as solved. lol.

Hi @jozsefdavid , do you you have any updates for us regarding the solution to show Studio videos in iOS applications?
Regards, Isobel
Hi @imerricks ,
Thank you for the followup. The solution is released now. You can read more in the release notes.
Hi @jozsefdavid
We are still having this issue where embedded Studio content does not display in the apps (Student or Teacher). There is a post from October 2023 that there was a release that fixed this issue, however it appears to still not be fixed. Any updates on this please?
Thanks
Tracy
