Canvas Basics Badge
As you progress through the course, you will cover the Canvas features needed to become First Day Ready and use Canvas as a new Canvas user. The course is self-paced and not facilitated but is structured in such a way that you must complete the modules and content in the order presented. Each of the four modules will contain formative assessments that help you gauge your retention of the information presented. A summative assessment is provided at the end of the entire course. An 80% competency is required to earn a digital badge issued by Instructure through Canvas Credentials.
Statistics in Education for Mere Mortals
This short course will provide an introductory, hands-on introduction to statistics used in educational research and evaluation. Participants will learn statistical concepts, principles, and procedures by building Excel spreadsheets from scratch in a guided learning approach using very short video-based tutorials.
Course Enhancement with Generative AI
In this fully online, self-paced workshop, offered free through the University of South Florida, participants will explore a series of generative AI (GenAI) use case tutorials, interact with peers, and gain hands-on experience with prompting through a variety of GenAI platforms in the context of teaching and learning. Participants ultimately construct their own GenAI course enhancement plan to implement immediately in their courses.
