To Our Amazing Educators Everywhere,
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
Canvas disallows the display of question details when a question bank has 51 or more questions.
This is a problem because when uploading questions banks from publishers they will often have 51 or more questions. This means I cannot easily view the questions and choose the ones I want to use.
I imagine this bug was created in respond to resolving this prior bug: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Known-Issues/Question-banks-with-51-or-more-questions-duplicate-q...

Hi @jbm
Unfortunately, that is not a bug. It is intended behavior. On question banks, you can only display question details on banks with less than 50 questions.
On the quiz itself the limit is 25, so that limit is expanded to 50 on the question banks.
You can find this information in this guide
How do I create a question bank in a course?
The last line of the guide states the following:
"Note: Questions details are not available in question banks with more than 50 questions."
I hope you will have a great day.

Thanks, FWIW, a better approach to user-oriented design would be to add that note on the screen where questions are actually imported/created, rather having the note on a community page, at the bottom, as a footnote.
