A department prefers to print student quizzes with both the student's answer and the correct answer identified, in an effort to prevent students from passing exams on to the next group. When Moderating a Quiz, clicking the students name, right-clicking to print or save as a PDF, it indicates Correct or Wrong but does not show the correct answer. Instructors say this feature worked in the spring and wonder if something changed in the last month.

Crystal,
Thank you for sharing your screenshot!
When I attempted to replicate this behavior yesterday, I primarily used short answer questions. Those question types still allowed me to view the correct answer. However, today when I tested, with the multiple choice, I was in fact able to replicate the behavior that you're describing.
I personally am not aware of any changes that were made over the summer that could impact this, but I think it might be ideal to reach out to Canvas technical support and see if it's a glitch on their end. Do you think that's a good idea?
Best,
Noah
Hi there @CrystalPounds ,
Thanks for reaching out on the Instructure Community!
I just gave this a try to see if I could replicate your behavior... and I'm still seeing the correct answers. On my screen, they appear directly beneath the student's answer (the student's answer is in the little box in the left-hand corner).
I find this interesting. What question types were your teachers working with?
@NoahBoswell, Thank you for responding and trying to replicate the scenario. I've seen it primarily on multple-choice and True/False (which is easy to tell the correct answer 🙂) I go to Quizzes, open a quiz, click Moderate This Quiz, click on a student, and can see the "Wrong" in red, which answer the student selected and the correct answer, but when I right-click and select Print, I can no longer see the correct answer. I'm including a screenshot below.

Noah,
I wish it was something we were doing wrong but I appreciate you taking the time to replicate the scenario and confirm it is an issue. I will contact Canvas technical support. Thanks again!
