Changing required points on sets of quizzes

Some of my quizzes are not required. By that I mean, the students have available, say, 10 quizzes worth 10 points each (for a total of 100 points possible), but I only require them to do 90 points worth. If they ace all 10 and get 100 points, then they are essentially earning extra credit, but the set is only worth 90 points. I can’t drop the lowest score or set a quiz to be a survey, because they are all valid points that the students can earn. How do I get Canvas to recognize that only 90 of the 100 are required in the total points possible?
