My course has ended and my gradebook disappeared. All the columns are still there but no students, nor student artifacts. When I click Gradebook History, I can see student grades, but I cannot access any artifacts. How do I get my students' assignments back?

Hello @SarahPeterson08 - from what you have described, it sounds like your course has transitioned form being 'available' to be 'concluded'. This means the course is now read only for students and the instructor. At our school this happens 90 days after the term end date. Best to check with your IT team so see when your Canvas courses are concluded. It could be as soon as the day after the term end date.
See here for information on concluding courses: How do I conclude a course at the end of a term as... - Instructure Community - 690
To access student grades, etc., in a concluded course, go to grades, select the student's name you wish to view, and select grades. That brings you to a page where all the grades are listed. From there we can select the name of the assignment and access the artifacts (the content students uploaded), the rubrics, comments, etc.
All set?

Hi @SarahPeterson08,
I know that @Jeff_F replied back to you a few days ago. I am not sure sure of the status of your situation.
I would like to share something else to consider and that is showing grades for students with a "concluded" enrollment status in the course. You can learn about it in the How do I view grades for inactive or concluded student enrollments in the Gradebook? - Instructure ... support article.
Best of luck!
