I had a link to sign into my Canvas on my school website that wasn't working, so I tried to sign in separately on the Canvas website with my school email. I didn't know that it was a teacher account, so I would like to delete the whole account. The account is not under the school; know that it was just used with my school email.

Hi @cs20,
As mentioned in the Canvas Free-for-Teacher FAQ support article:
Deleting FFT Accounts
If you decide you no longer want your FFT account, you can request to delete your account. Deleting your Canvas account cannot be undone and will delete all Canvas information including courses, assignments, grades, and participation. Do not request to have your account deleted unless you are certain you absolutely no longer require any access to your prior Canvas activity.
You can contact Canvas Support in Canvas Free for Teachers by: (1) logging into Canvas Free for Teachers at https://canvas.instructure.com/login, (2) clicking on the "Help" icon on the left-side, (3) clicking on the "Report a Problem" link, (4) filling in the form, and (5) clicking on the "Submit Ticket" button.
Please let us know if you need anything else.

I need to cancel my FFT account. I tried clicking on the link in this response but the page is not found.
Hi @ShaneyFersinger,
I think that is because the Community webpage added a "comma" to the end of the link. Please try using the link below to login and then the instructions to submit your request to Canvas.

There is no "Report a Problem" option under the Help icon for me to use.
Hi @ShaneyFersinger ,
This is because you are not enrolled in at least one course as a Teacher. You can fix this issue by creating a course by clicking the Start a New Course button on the right-hand side of your Dashboard page, just give the course a random name, create the course then after the page refreshes try clicking the help icon again and seeing if the link appears.
For some reason, this functionality is not available for users that don't have teacher accounts.
Best!
Noah
I am having an issue because I accidentally created a Free for Teachers account using my school's Gmail address. Now I can't access my school's Canvas account. I'm unsure if this is connected, but I started having the problem after accidentally creating the account.
Hi @ShaneyFersinger,
The two Canvas LMS user accounts (FFT and your school's) should be separate from each other.
From your school's email address, I would recommend that you send an email to support@instructure.com.
In that email:
Hopefully that will be enough for them to look into this for you.
