Jwplayer not working on canvas app in Android

Jump to solution

Steps to reproduce:

Just create a new discussion open the html editor and paste this

<p>This iframe with video works on Web App, iOS App, but fails on Android app</p>
<p><iframe src="https://corp.hosted.panopto.com/Panopto/Pages/Embed.aspx?id=69f90b29-6f14-444f-8ff2-9b615ed6c101&v=1"></iframe> <iframe src="https://app.ilosvideos.com/embed/NkXr3sXVtxF7"></iframe></p>

First link is a Flow player video (works on web app, ios and android)

Second one is a JW player video (works on web app and ios, but not on android). This works if I access it from chrome on android but not from the native app.

Is canvas android app not supporting JW player?

I really think is not something on our side.

Anyone that can help me solve this?

Hi Daniel,

It's definitely possible that the Android app doesn't support this player. I have tried a few things in testing and can't get it to work either. I suggest that you send feedback through the app.

Open the app, navigate to help and select "Report a Problem" - https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-9807-18555199459

I'll continue to monitor this thread and let you know if I find out anything else.
