My Quizzes are not using the right question banks so it shows as blank

I have two courses that are the same meaning that the content is the same between them. However, when I imported one course's content to the other, there was an issue with the quizzes. All of the quizzes in the imported course are showing blank questions. All of the questions should be pulling from a question bank, however, they are pulling from the original course and not the question banks from the imported course. I know that I have working question banks in both courses because I fixed my quizzes this semester by manually deleting all of the questions in the imported course and replacing them with questions from the correct question bank. However, this process is tedious and I want to know if there's some way to fix this? 

Some things I have tried:

• Importing the exam again didn't work
• Exporting the original course's quizzes as a QTI file and uploading it into the imported course did not work

Hi @scourj,

Without being able to see the courses and the quizzes, it seems that the questions banks from course A are not going over to course B.

Without completely redoing things, please try these two set of steps:

1. bookmark the question bank(s) that you want/need to use in course A (How do I bookmark or unbookmark a question bank in a course? - Instructure Community - 1231 )
2. in course B, go to the quiz(zes) and edit them and then use either:
   1. "Find Questions" (to add the questions directly to the quiz, separating them from course A: How do I create a quiz by finding questions in a question bank? - Instructure Community - 1034 )
   2. create a "New Question Group" and then "Link to a Question Bank" (keeps using the questions from within the question bank in course A because they are linked and not added: How do I create a quiz with a question group linked to a question bank? - Instructure Community - 10...)
