Quizzes not accessible with Jaws on Chrome and Edge

Our course quizzes are not currently accessible with Jaws when using Chrome and Edge. The screen reader skips over the question answers, making it impossible for students to complete the course quizzes successfully. We want to make Canvas and others aware of this issue in hopes of having the issue resolved quickly. Has anyone else had this issue with students using screen readers and taking quizzes with Chrome and Edge?

Thanks for posting this in the community! 

I am sorry you are seeing an issue with the JAW screen reader skipping over questions and answers on quizzes. 

• Just to verify, is this happening with the New Quizzes or Classic Quizzes engine? 
• Have you noticed if it Is it skipping over the questions and answers on a specific type of question with Chrome and Edge? (Ex: Multiple choice, fill in the blank) 
• Do you know what version of Chrome and Edge the behavior was experienced with? 

Lastly, have you contacted Canvas support about this yet? They should be able to investigate the behavior further and determine if it is related to a known issue.
