When some of our students and teachers are logging in to Canvas they are receiving the message "you have recently logged in multiple times too quickly. Please wait a few seconds and try again."
This is happening on the first time logging in. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. It looks like there have been a handful of institutions experiencing the same issue the last day or two. Please contact Canvas Support and let them know so they can document it. There will likely be a fix soon. The more documentation they have, the quicker they can pinpoint the issue and provide a resolution. Hopefully this helps.
This has been happening at our institution all week long now. I've been speaking with support and so far we cannot figure out what is causing this issue.
We are also facing this issue. Rebooting the computer has not worked. Would love a solution please!
Not sure about "solution" but it seems to work if you open an incognito tab and log in that way.
Happening at my institution as well; all we've found is that if people keep trying to log in, eventually the system randomly decides to let them in 😑
Same with us; it seems to be affecting individuals who use multiple tabs of Canvas open and mobile users at a slightly higher rate. That may just be a bias in our user base though 🤣

Just hit reload and it says Resubmit the form? Hit yes and then it logs in properly.
Happens to me on mobile every time and probably has something to do with the cache.
This is also happening to a number of Canvas users in different instances of ours.
It's easy enough to fix/workaround but ideally should not happen at all (and is a barrier for less tech savvy users).
