This page displays an embedded view of the Canvas Release Schedule calendar.
To subscribe to the Canvas Release calendar, please see the What is the Canvas release schedule for beta, production, and test environments?
The schedule above indicates when the deploy notes will be published, but it does not indicate when the actual deploys will occur. It would be extremely helpful to have that information.
This document from erinhallmark may be of help to you: Canvas Deploy Archive.
Thank you! So, we have "releases" once a month, and "deploys" every two weeks. That's a lot of code change.
Are the Ready Release and Deploy notes due to be released today? 31/03/20?
Is this calendar available as an ics file? I'm not able to find it here in the new community...
Yes, ICS is located in the document linked at the top of the page.
thanks, the file seems incomplete right now. No Saturday environment resets seem to have entires after it;s uploaded into outlook...
@JACOBSEN_C I know the ics files are more tempermental. I'd recommend subscribing directly if you can. Otherwise you'll have to download the ics file more often to make sure it's the most recent file after I've changed something.
Why a I getting an error that I don't have permission to view the update and deploy calendar? I'm logged into my instance of Canvas. Any ideas?
@vrichter We had a problem with the calendar yesterday; make sure you clear your browser cache? Can you see the embedded calendar on this page? You shouldn't have to log in to view it.
The calendar seems bank still...
As the first comment from 2019 says: "The schedule above indicates when the deploy notes will be published, but it does not indicate when the actual deploys will occur. It would be extremely helpful to have that information."
I would also like some more details on the timeslot when a deploy occur. I can understand this is different for all hosted solutions but an indication of possible time and downtime would be good.
