In this Studio release (2024-05-06), Studio Capture for Google and Edge browsers is updated to allow users to manage the webcam picture-in-picture display when creating a screen capture. Additionally, Studio Global Navigation is redesigned to be more consistent with Instructure and Canvas design.

By default, the picture-in-picture display appears in the lower right hand corner of your browser.

To move the picture-in-picture display, click your cursor on the window and drag it to a new location [1]. To resize the picture-in-picture display, click your cursor at a corner to display the Resize icon [2], then drag the icon to resize the window. During recording, the picture-in-picture display can be displayed or hidden at any time. To close the picture-in-picture display, click the Close icon [3].
