Canvas Data 2 DAP Client Proxy?

Is it possible to configure proxy setting for the Canvas Data 2 DAP Client? We would like to run frequent syncs to Canvas on the SQL server machine we schedule the rest of our ETL jobs from to keep things consistent, but the server does not have direct internet access. Is there a way around this?

DAP client library open two types connections: HTTPS connections to DAP API and AWS S3 to start snapshot/incremental queries and fetch output data, and database connections via the database-specific driver (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL or ODBC). If the database driver can handle remote connections, or you can re-route the connection (e.g. with SSL port-forwarding/tunneling), it should be possible to connect the ends.
