Ability to use annotations when grading discussion in Speedgrader?

Will the Discussions Redesign include the ability for instructors to annotate when grading discussion posts in Speedgrader? It would be great if that can be added! 

I noticed this in some earliest posts in Canvas Community but wasn't able to find in the Discussion Redesign board.

The Studio screen recording tool has an annotation tool. See below -

I see how that would be good for Studio users. We're not using Studio. Also, we want to do this in writing ... to highlight a specific section to comment on -- like can be done when annotating a paper. We're not wanting to add any additional steps for instructors ... which making recordings would require. At least not at this time. 🙂
