Product Update

Change to FTP Site

On Thursday, April 20 our Engineering Team migrated the FTP site where you upload your assessment files to an FTP hosted by AWS. As a result of this migration, you will now use ftp.elevate-analytics.instructure.com as the URL to access your files. Folder structure, username and passwords will remain the same. You are no longer able to access the old URL and there will be no redirect.

If you have any questions or experience any issues, please contact our support team at analytics-support@instructure.com.

April Release

Release notes for the April 4 Release & April 20 Release are now available. You can access all available release notes at any time in the Instructure Community. Highlights of the April releases are below.

Updated Features

  • Users are now able to explore widgets inside of the Scorecard when a widget is able to be explored. An exploration icon now appears in the middle of the widget.
  • Users can now create custom assessment periods and assign individual assessments to custom assessment periods
  • Users are now able to associate more periods to a single assessment and delete associations.
  • The Student Disability dimension now includes: Disability.OrderofDisability, Disability.DisabilityDesignation, Disability.DisabilityDiagnosis, and ShortDescription and these fields are available for drilldown and analysis.
  • Active staff now are displayed in visuals for their assignments for each school year in which they are employed.
  • For situations where SIS vendors send multiple email addresses for staff and accounts are automatically created, only work email addresses are now used.

Additionally, several bug fixes were implemented including the following:

  • Previously set filters adapt to new filters and change visualizations accordingly.
  • When users summarize a column view and choose to view more items per page, the summary view persists.
  • When exporting ETL table data, it is now limited to 10,000 rows of data. If additional rows are needed, users should contact Support.
  • Repeating charts are now created and displayed after creation correctly.
  • Users can now export Watchlist History to Excel without issues.

If you have any questions or want to review any of these updates, please contact our support team at analytics-support@instructure.com.
