From the Visuals page, you can view the charts and dashboards in your Visuals Library. You can also view visuals shared by your organization, and you may be able to create a new dashboard.
Open Visuals
In the Navigation Menu, click the Visuals link.
View Visuals Page
In the Visuals page, you can view your Visuals Library and create a Dashboard [1].
The Visuals menu displays the Yours section [2] and the Organization section [3]. To view a list of available dashboards and charts, click a Visuals menu link [4]. On the right, view available dashboards and charts [5].
To rename or delete a visual, click the visual's Options icon [6].
You can sort or search the visuals using the Sort by links [7] or Search item field [8].
View Yours Visuals Section
The Visuals menu Yours section, displays the following category links:
- Favorites [1]: charts and dashboards you have added as favorites
- Created by You [2]: charts and dashboards you have created or that are available to you by default
- Published to You [3]: charts and dashboards that other users have published and shared to you
- Published by You [4]: dashboards you have published for other users to view
View Organization Section
Your institution may make visuals available to all users at your institution. These visuals are organized and accessible in the Organization section. The Organization section may display the following links:
- Attendance [1]: charts and dashboards that illustrate daily attendance demographics, comparisons, trends, truancy data, and tardiness data
- Enrollment [2]: charts and dashboards that display school and section enrollment data
- Discipline [3]: charts and dashboards that display discipline demographics, comparison data, and trends
- Academic Record [4]: charts and dashboards that display overall student grade data and course grade data
- Assessments [5]: charts and dashboards that display assessment data by assessment family
- State Accountability [6]: charts and dashboards that display state-specific data
- Data Validation [7]: charts and dashboards that display academic data, including attendance, enrollment, discipline, academic record, and staff data
- Canvas [8]: charts and dashboards that display Canvas LMS data
Notes:
- Organization visuals may update periodically in the Elevate K-12 Analytics Master Visuals Library. To display updated organization visuals on your institution's Visuals page, your admin can periodically check for and synchronize updates with the Master Visuals Library.
- Admins can manage visuals for all users at the institution or by user role.
Sort Visuals
In the Created by You, Published to You, or Published by You categories, you can sort the displayed list of visuals.
To sort the visuals list by date created, from newest to oldest, click the Creation date link [1].
To sort the visuals list alphabetically, click the Alphabetical link [2].
Search Visuals
To search for visuals by title, add text in the Search field [1]. The list filters to display dashboards and charts that contain the exact search text(s). The discovered search text is highlighted [2].
Rename or Delete Visual
To rename or delete a visual, click the visual's Options icon [1]. Then, click the Rename link [2] or the Delete link [3].
Open Visual
To open a visual, click a category link [1]. If sub-categories exist, click a sub-category link [2]. Then click the visual link [3].
To open a chart used in a dashboard, click the dashboard's plus icon [4]. Then click the chart link [5].
