How do I use the Scorecard sidebar?

Elevate K-12 Analytics student scorecards display overall student data and progress toward metric key performance indicators (KPIs) set by your institution. However, the charts displayed in a scorecard are dynamic.

Use the Scorecard sidebar to manage the scorecard or further analyze student data or metrics using the Data Explorer.

Open Perspectives

In the Navigation Menu, click the Perspectives link.

Open Scorecard

On the Perspectives page, click the Created by You link [1]. Then click the Student Scorecard option [2] (or another scorecard if one is listed).

Select Student

On the Search for Student page, locate the student in the student list. To search for a student by first name, last name, or lastname,firstname, type in the Search field [1]. To select a student, click their associated Select button [2].

Open Tools Menu

Click the Tools Menu icon [1]. The sidebar opens [2].

View Student Details

View student's current school, grade, gender, and race.

Control Scorecard Access

To display a link to this student's scorecard under Favorites on the Perspectives page, click the Enable Quick Access link [1]. To remove the scorecard from the Favorites section, click the Disable Quick Access link.

To view a different student's scorecard, click the Find Student link [2].

View Section

To view a specific section of the scorecard, click a section name link.

View Actions

To manage the scorecard, use the options in the Actions menu:

• To open the Data Explorer and dynamically investigate a section of the scorecard, select a widget of the scorecard [1]. Then click the Explore link [2].
• To link the Scorecard button on a watchlist to this scorecard, click the Set as watchlist default link [3]. Note: Currently, the Student Scorecard is set as the watchlist default.
• To add this scorecard under the Favorites section of the Perspectives page, click the Add to favorites link [4].
• To see options for exporting the scorecard, click the Send to link [5]. Then select the Printer, Email, Save as image, Save as PDF, or Save to Excel link.
