Updated Features

Batch Copy Alignments

Batch Copy Alignment Completion Reports

Summary
The Batch Copy Alignment process generates a completion report listing all alignments successfully created during the request. This report is automatically included in the confirmation email sent when the process finishes. It provides a clear record of the outcomes for reference and auditing.

Change Benefit
This enables the user to track, review, and QA alignments created through a Batch Copy Alignment request.

Users must select the Email me when copy is complete checkbox to receive the report. The report will be attached to the email.

New Relationship Types and Filtered to Existing Relationships

Summary
Additional relationship types, Origins and Peer Derivative relationships, are added and are functional in the Batch Copy Alignment tool. The relationships selection list indicates which relationships are available, dependent on the relationships found in the Source Document.

Change Benefit
This update streamlines alignment workflows by allowing users to copy alignments between standards, such as from the California Common Core Content Standards to the National Common Core or Ohio Learning Standards.

Adding or Copying Tags During Batch Copy

Summary
When copying Alignments through the Batch Copy process, users can add configurable tags to the alignments.

Change Benefit

Tags provide additional context and can be used for review, reporting, or to indicate the strength or source of an alignment. For example, when copying crosswalks, a Crosswalk tag can be added to help aligners easily identify the origin of the alignment.

Feature WorkflowView Rules to Follow for TagsView Rules to Follow for TagsThree options are provided:

Derivative Indicators

Indication of Derivative and Exact Derivative Relationships

Summary
In Align by Object, when viewing standards that are Predicted, Aligned, or Rejected, if the standard has a relationship back to an origin document, an easy indicator of the nature of the derivative relationship (Exact Derivative or Derivative, indicating some change from the origin) displays.

Change Benefit
A quick review of standards is made easier with this visual indicator, enabling focus on the standards that need review.

Feature Workflow

The visual indicator is shown on all three tabs: Predictions, Aligned, and Rejected. Derivatives are not limited to National document origins, but also include documents such as Texas STAAR (a subset, or derivative of Texas TEKS).
