So, what if a teacher is leaving a job. Could that teacher export her Canvas modules/courses to an individual Canvas account? I know anyone can open and have an individual Canvas account. I love Canvas so much and don't want to ever lose the great content I have created here. Can I move to my own personal Canvas?
If so, how?
Thanks, Kate

@kking1 ...
Instructors can export their course content using this Guide:
Then, an instructor could create a Free For Teacher (FFT) account and upload the course export file to a course in his/her FFT account.
How do I import a Canvas course export package?
However, as you may know, the FFT account would have some limitations compared to a paid Canvas account that is at your school or business. (By the way, I don't believe there is any way for an individual to purchase a Canvas environment for himself/herself.) You'll want to review the comparison PDF document that is linked in this Guide:

I hope this will be of some help to you. Sing out if you have any questions...thanks!

Thank you so much. That worked. Now I have some courses saved for myself. I now need to pare down the over 500 MB to save some other courses. Thanks again!
