I'm a Canvas admin at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, and an eLearning administrator in the BJ Moore Center for Faculty Innovation at the university. Twice annually, once in the spring and again in the fall, we hold a two-day faculty/staff institute focusing on issues related to improving teaching effectiveness. We also sponsor faculty development workshops and seminars throughout the year addressing a wide range of topics of importance to faculty. In the coming months, we anticipate conducting multiple faculty development workshops along these same lines. We would like to offer a roughly two-hour workshop, ideally next month (in July) if possible and again in August, that shows faculty how to use Canvas effectively to improve student success. We would like the workshop presenter to be someone who has a proven track record of effectiveness in teaching with Canvas at the higher education level. We don't want Canvas staff but faculty who are actually using Canvas effectively. Would anyone be interested in participating in either the faculty/staff institute or faculty workshops remotely?
