Course listing under import courses

The drop down menu for courses when importing should be in reserve chronological order. I should not have to search through my last ten years of classes to get to my most recent versions, which are always listed last.

Agreed!

Even better would be if it similar to term search/filter on the account courses page for admins where there would be separators for "Active courses" (first group), "Future Courses" (second group), and "Past Courses" (last group), with courses in each group listed in reverse chronological order, so the newest would be higher up.  I'd love this kind of design/logic to be applied to all of the dropdown menus throughout Canvas, but I know ideas need to be specific, so I could live with just changing the import screen to start with.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
