Re-opening Multiple Assignments for a Student

We set due dates for our students and close their ability to submit work after the due date.  The reasoning for this is that they must contact their instructor to discuss their challenges in staying on track and request these assignments be re-opened.  The issue we are having is that students are asking for multiple assignments to be re-opened, and this becomes arduous for our teachers to enter every assignment the student missed to add a new due date.  Is there a way to allow teachers to set new due dates for multiple assignments?

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
