Teacher email Through Canvas to teachers inbox

When a student uses the canvas inbox have it send the message directly to the teachers email.

Hi @jt19 -

This is currently available for all Canvas users, regardless of their role! You can automatically have a copy of any message sent to you in the Canvas Inbox arrive in your work email.

First, you need to enable notifications for Conversations. Then, set those to Notify Immediately for notifications.

How do I manage my Canvas notification settings as an instructor? 

Another great tip with this is: you can reply from your work email and it will automatically find its way back to the Canvas Inbox. The Student's initial message will copy on the bottom, so if you'd like, you can Select All, Delete and then write so they only see your reply in the inbox.
