In this Impact release, new content for Canvas is available. The updated design of end-user facing messages and walkthroughs is released and the LTI Tools page is updated.

Canvas

Campaign: Canvas Release of March 16th

Launching the Canvas release campaign provides users with updates and new features in Canvas.

 

Monitors

New monitors are created and added to student reporting templates.

Impact offers an Out-of-the-Box campaign suite to show the benefits of adding Observers to courses and student’s accounts, along with step-by-step guides.

142 new translations are added across multiple articles and languages.

Messages and Walkthroughs

End-User Facing Messages and Walkthroughs

Updates are made to the design of messages both individually and inside of a campaign or walkthrough. The functionality and behavior of messages, campaigns, and walkthroughs remain the same.

Note: Canvas currently does not have dark mode, therefore, the dark theme message mode in Impact General Settings is being deprecated.

LTI Tools

LTI Tools Page Load

In the LTI Tools page, when an abundant amount of tools are present, page performance loads in the appropriate amount of time.

 

Fixed Bugs

 

  • Campaigns can use unlimited users in the user groups and individual users.
  • The Support Center and Inline Editor appear in Canvas by refreshing the page and without needing to clear the cache.
  • The Turnitin LTI Tool launches appropriately.
  • Canvas Course Activity pagination details include the Previous Page and Next Page buttons.
