This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 3/26/25.
Users can open multiple question and question group editors at the same time. This can lead to confusion and errors since validation is not properly handled.
Only one question or question group editor should be open at a time.
Clicking edit buttons should submit the active form and consider validation errors.
The first invalid input should be focused when there are validation errors.
No workaround exists at this time.
Open the quiz editor.
Click on the “Edit” icon of a question or question group.
Click on the “New Question” or “New Question Group” button.
Observe that multiple editors can be opened without validation checks.
