This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 11/13/24.
Description
Users are unable to read the whole message text when using the iOS mobile app, the message seems to be cut off after 160 characters. There is no possibility to expand the text to read the remaining of the message.
Expected Behavior
Users should be able to read the full message.
Workaround
No workaround exists at this time.
Steps to Reproduce
Prerequisites: Have a course with at least one student and one teacher enrolled:

Act as the teacher and send the student a message with a text longer than 160 characters.

As the student, reply back to the teacher’s message.

When navigating to the message details on the app, the first message (sent by the teacher in this scenario) will be truncated, and the student won’t be able to read the full message they initially received.
