How do I enable LockDown Browser for a benchmark assessment?

As a Mastery Connect admin, you can enable the LockDown Browser tool for benchmark assessments.

Notes:

  • Students must have Respondus LockDown Browser installed on a compatible device (MacOS, Windows, Chromebook, or iPad) to access the assessment.
  • Staff members with the additive permission of Benchmark Author or Benchmark Facilitator can also enable LockDown Browser for a benchmark assessment. You can learn more about roles and permissions.

Open Benchmarks

In the Global Navigation menu, click the Admin link [1]. Hover over the Assessments tab [2], and select the Benchmarks option [3].

Open Benchmark Manager

In the Benchmarks page, locate the benchmark, and click the Manage button.

In the Assessment Manager, click the Settings tab.

Enable LockDown Browser

On the Settings tab of the Benchmark Manager, click the Enable Lockdown Browser checkbox.
