What are the Mastery View Predictive Assessments?

The Mastery View Predictive Assessments (formerly known as CASE assessments) are pre-built benchmark assessments designed to provide highly reliable predictions about the degree to which students are on target to meet mastery of state standards. Using your state assessment blueprint, curriculum experts have developed the assessments to be tightly aligned to your state's learning standards. And, like state tests, the assessments provide rigor through text complexity, item type, vocabulary, balance of DOK, and plausible answer choices.

You can administer the Mastery View Predictive Assessments in the fall, winter, and spring, with the spring being a final comprehensive assessment. The Mastery View Predictive Assessments assessments can be delivered online in Mastery Connect, which integrates optionally with Canvas. Through Mastery Connect, teachers and administrators can view and download Predictive Assessment reports. Mastery View Predictive Assessments can also be delivered using paper-pencil scanning via Mastery Connect and GradeCam.
