Curriculum maps identify the learning standards, objectives, and outcomes for a course. Mastery Connect then uses these identified outcomes to measure student growth and performance throughout a course.
As an admin or a teacher, you can create curriculum maps. As an admin, you can also create district-approved curriculum maps.
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Maps tab [1]. Then click the Add Curriculum Map button [2].

By default, you are listed as the curriculum map owner in the Owner section [1]. However, you can add team members as additional owners by changing the owner.
To change the owner, click the Owner drop-down menu [2]. Then select an option from the list [3].
Note: Curriculum map owners can update map ownership at any time. Learn more about changing the owner of a curriculum map.
Before you can save your map, you must name it. Enter a name for the curriculum map in the Map Name field [1].
To provide a short description for the curriculum map, enter a description in the Description field [2].
By default, new curriculum maps are shared with the Mastery Connect Community [1]. However, you can manage the privacy setting for your curriculum map.
To change the privacy setting for the curriculum map, click the Privacy drop-down menu [2]. Learn more about curriculum map privacy options.
To select the subject for your curriculum map, click the Subject drop-down menu [1]. Select a subject from the list.
To select the core standards, objectives, or outcomes for the curriculum map, click the Core drop-down menu [2]. Select your core standards set from the list.
To select the class for the curriculum map, click the Class drop-down menu [3]. Select the class from the list.
Note: If your core or class isn't listed in the available options, create a support ticket to request additional standards.
If you are an admin, the District Approved Curriculum Map option displays [1]. You can select to specify your curriculum map as an approved district resource. District approved curriculum maps cannot be copied.
By default, the option is turned Off [1]. To set the map as a district approved resource, click to turn the toggle On [2].
Click the Create Curriculum Map button.
